When to Apply:
All requests to ICF, whether for initial or renewal funding, must begin with a letter of inquiry. The Foundation accepts letters of inquiry during the year’s first and third quarters (January 1 – March 31 and July 1 – September 30). Letters of inquiry postmarked outside of these dates will be returned to the applying organizations.
Procedure:
- Carefully review the
Eligibility Guidelines page
and the Foundation’s grant programs.
- Use the links below to download a copy of Foundation's

- Remember, applicants are required to attach an expense and revenue budget, which covers the program or project that is the subject of your letter of inquiry, as well as a listing of funding sources and solicitations to date.
- You may apply to our Small Grant Program if you are seeking a grant of $500 or less.
